⚒️ Traditional Printmaking Sampler

$200 — includes all supplies: scribe, v-gauge, copper plate, linoleum, small woodblock
Explore several traditional printmaking processes through a fast-moving, hands-on introduction to monoprint, intaglio, relief, and experimental lithography. In this 4 session class taught by OSC-Press owner & operator, Eric Piper, students will begin by learning how to create monoprints on copper plates and then transform them into intaglio printing surfaces using engraving techniques.
The class will continue with carving and printing linoleum and MDF relief blocks. Students will learn how to plan an image, work safely with carving tools, ink a raised surface, and pull prints by hand and with a press.
The final sessions will introduce experimental and alternative lithographic methods using the carved lino and MDF blocks in unexpected ways. Participants will leave with a varied collection of finished prints and a practical understanding of how several major printmaking processes differ, overlap, and can be combined.
