🎨 Comprehensive Screenprinting

Mondays & Wednesdays · 6–8pm · August 3rd-12th
Location: OSC-Press · Instructor: Jenna A. Bryan
$200 (includes all supplies: Screen, squeegee, ink, paper, t-shirt and apron)

Learn the complete screenprinting process from start to finish with Jenna A. Bryan, owner and Production Manager of OSC-Press. Students will learn proper screen preparation, design prep and transparency setup, exposing and setting up screens, tearing and registering paper, and printing techniques for multicolor fine art prints using waterbased inks as well as graphic tees using plastisol on our carousel press. Students will also learn proper cleaning and reclaiming methods.

The class project will explore several methods for creating transparencies through creating a 3 color screen print with water based ink on paper and will conclude with a collaborative t-shirt design printed in plastisol on our carousel press.

Participants will leave with finished prints, custom-printed apparel, a screen burned with their own original designs, and a squeegee to continue printing after the class. By the end of the four sessions, students will understand the full process and have a basic setup of their own for future printing projects.
